Catalysis Brand Site
I devised 3 animated sketches for a new Catalysis "microsite," a tool to be used internally for brand guidance. After developing multiple wireframes, my team decided to focus on using side scrolling as one of the site's main components as an exercise in exploring new possibilities. Here, side scrolling is utilized within three different art directions.
The final selection was refined by eliminating any hidden menus, leaving the site open for discovery. Scroll to the last video to view a mockup tour.

Here is a high-quality animated sketch of the 1st direction. While it is less stylized compared to the other two directions, its elements are less hidden and therefore are more connected and practical.
Here is a high-quality animated sketch of the 2nd direction. This site is more image-driven and encourages exploration. Of the three, this sketch was the favorite for design.
Here is a high-quality animated sketch of the 3rd direction. Cleaner and more gallery-styled, this direction handles visuals in a fresh way, and embraces the horizontal scrolling entirely.
Here is a high-quality animated tour of the 2nd direction, further revised. The menu navigation was discarded, simplifying the site to a seven panel tool, where guidelines and downloads could be accessed all on one page.
